I really admire what the Folk Art Museum in NYC tries to do: create exhibitions that elevate the work

This was an installation of antique weather vanes in a four story atrium.

Often I make mounts out of brass to enable the object to float in a case. The mount should be secure, and easy to use.

These weapons of war used wood staffs as handles, making a very effective tool for maiming humans.

Mounts seem out of place until the work is installed.

This Wall installation includes the drinking horn, cast crowns, and scepters. Today, scepters are seen as ceremonial staffs. They originally were weapons.
